Colton Baker

Growing up Eurasian, I spent a lot of time walking between two worlds. British and Chinese. Sometimes it feels like you don't fully belong to either... But I’ve realized that wearing both pairs of shoes is actually my greatest strength.

I’m a Vancouver kid, born and raised. From the streets of Strathcona where I went to school, to the coast where I find my calm. This city is where my history is at.

But here’s the twist! I’m actually an Engineering student. Chemical and Biological engineering.

yanan is my reset. It’s where I balance logic with art. For now we're working to visualize our designs, but the goal is to one day engineer sustainability into every single stitch.

Steven and I want to make clothes that represent that feeling. Quality, comfort, and a deep connection to your roots, whether you’re hiking the North Shore or exploring the city. You be you, be confident, and be the best you can be.

In my spare time, I enjoy breaking a sweat with fitness and yoga. I love to travel and to get out into nature and explore the outdoors!

I'm Steven, and I am currently a business student passionate about creating meaningful connections while delivering excellent experiences.

Being seen and heard are powerful drivers for anyone. It allows for undeniable strength in a person's self esteem and self love. It lays the foundation of unwavering courage, initiative, and determination to overcome challenges and to see through their vision of a better tomorrow. 

So at yanan apparel, our mission is reconnect people to their heritage and allow its love to enveloped them.

In my free time, I enjoy karaoke, lifting weights and exploring nature. :)
